Svenska: Inskriptionen är ristad med runor på en blandning av svenska och engelska: “Vi ar i lant of Oskar friat of Viktoria of Inklant. This holi saita vit holt sint morak stil har lat Jon Volli of Matlock rit runs aftir Savastovols fal” Eller: “Vi äro I Oskars land, befriat från Viktoria av England. Denna heliga seite med hela sin stilla mark omkring (omgivning) har lärt Jon Volli från Matlok att rista runor efter Sevastopols fall.”
