English: A watercolour drawing of a colugo (Galeopterus variegatus; known in Malay as the kubung), with two of its young hidden in its patagium (gliding membrane). The colugo is sometimes known as the flying lemur, though it is not a true lemur. The drawing is one of 477 natural history drawings of plants and animals of Malacca and Singapore commissioned by William Farquhar.
