Great, but who is supposed to write this Wikipedia? Its speakers have little acces to computers and the total number of speakers is just around a quarter of a million, often too little even for keeping up a Wikipedia in a European language. Steinbach 09:04, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

That's not even the main problem yet because Nama is mainly a spoken language. Few the native speakers can read this language, even fewer can write. I'm currently trying to find a student who can read the sample text on Khoekhoe language, and I'm struggling. I'm ten years in Namibia now, and I have yet to meet a person that writes Nama on semi-professional level. --Pgallert 09:23, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
