Situation with the Jamaican Wikipedia

As I see this Wiki-project grows up, but it needs some help in it's creation. It has it's own request for creation, 500 most used messages have been translated, but Statistic is not well. For creation we need minimum 5 active users in this Wiki (minimum 10 edits per month for 1 person). Please, act! This wiki looks very good, but it needs your help in creation! Dem av any standad spellins an gramma mi shuda know 'bout?

Mi come ya so caa smady ask mi fi come look at sup'n, but mi no know if di patwa mi taak a di patwa whe unnu accep ya (Fi one t'ing, mi no naamaly seh "ya"; mi did affi change "here" to "ya" w'ile me did a write dis.) Mi can taak English an write English fairly O.K., but mi no 'av no idea how fi write patwa.

Mi agree wid yu 'bout di spellin' issue, 'cause mi 'ave di same problem dem. Di best option weh mi si a fi wi propose fi get wan Wiktionary an' use di word dem from desso as di standaad pon di wiki. Hi SamBlob, I am not knowledgeable about Jamaican Patois/Creole, but it would appear from User:Yocahuna that there is a couple of different orthography's for written Jamaican Patois/Creole. Perhaps the orthography you use is the natural one? And the other is an academic one? I really don't know either way, but this could be one reason why "spelling" is different?
