Its good to see progress in another Sino-Tibetan langauge of South Asia here. The article about Bodo in wikipedia states that Bodo language is written in Devnagari as well as Latin. Why is Devnagari not used here? If it is due to some technical problems, please feel free to contact me for that. Thank you.--Eukesh 09:14, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's true that Bodo language is officially written using Devanagiri script since the agreement between Bodo leaders and the Indian government, but Bodos are still highly illiterate and prefer using Latin script in everyday life, unless you are forced to use Devanagiri in Bodo Medium schools. This is also the reason why the Bodo language still doesn't have its own wiki site since most of the Bodos rarely can write correct Devanagiri, including me!
